Overview
Currently, there are several controversies regarding to management of diabetic complications as neonatal hypoglycaemia, hypocalcaemia, polycythaemia, and respiratory distress in infants of diabetic mothers. The review is dedicated to pathophysiological changes in newborns of diabetic mothers focusing on current therapy of diabetic complications on the basis of evidence-based medicine.
